With homes and apartments designed to appeal to a wide range of people, as well as a planned school, library, leisure complex, shops and hi-tech business centre, Locking Parklands will evolve as a genuine community, and its design and layout will contribute to this too.

St Modwen Homes has been influenced by traditional village developments in planning Locking Parklands as an entity. There will be a 'high street' and a central open space similar to a village green, play areas for children, and almost all of the homes overlook green areas and parkland.
