Welcome to Locking Parklands
With its rich local history, convenient city connections and rolling countryside, Locking Parklands is a unique mix of quaint and modern, countryside and community. Nestled on the edge of Weston-Super- Mare and approximately a 30-minute car journey to the city of Bristol, this community will grow to 1,450 homes.

Locking Parklands is one of the neighborhoods defined in North Somerset Council’s vision for the Parklands village, bringing about new homes and creating jobs for local people.

Through Homes England’s work with developers who want to make a difference, we’re making possible the new homes England needs, helping to improve neighbourhoods and grow communities.
The Locking Parklands scheme as a whole, delivers many community benefits including:
1450 new homes across the whole of Locking Parklands, to come forward in a phased approach
More than 80 acres of green spaces will be delivered at Locking Parklands including the existing Parkland at the front of the development, featuring the historic RAF Arboretum
